Horse And Rider
The Horse And Rider is a scripture song made popular in churches back in the 1970′s. This is a public domain song. In this piano lesson you will learn the simple melody and then you will learn a simple left hand pattern to support the melody. Once you master the melody you can sing the song as you play a piano accompaniment pattern which utilizes a lot of left hand bass action. There are thee left hand bass patterns. The first one is just simple root – chord = 5th of the chord then right hand chord. Then we build upon this basic pattern by adding bass runs. The final comp pattern uses a walk down pattern.
